D&H CANADA INVESTS IN NEW VENDOR PROGRAMS, HEADCOUNT, AND ENHANCED SERVICES TO SUPPORT GROWTH

- D&H's, New Vendor-Based Offerings, Expanded Facility, and Added Services Illustrate that the Company is Built for Growth, Generations, and Giving -

BRAMPTON, ONT - October 27, 2021 – Major channel technology provider D&H Canada announces it is pursuing new growth opportunities through a series of major investments, including expanding its services, headcount, facilities, and vendor offerings. This includes:

  • Updated partner programs from Cisco and Acer, plus new CTO (configure-to-order) offerings from HPI
  • $50 million in increased monthly credit extensions for Canadian partners
  • Increased headcount including more than 100 added positions to support North American business this year

These investments are part of D&H's "BFG" initiative, which stands for Built for Growth, Generations, and Giving, reflecting the company's expansion initiatives, family culture, and community involvement. Over the next two fiscal years, D&H Canada is looking to double its business across its manufacturer partners, far exceeding the $1 billion threshold across the Canadian marketplace. The BFG initiative will further boost D&H Canada's ability to deliver agile and reliable support, build lasting relationships, and continuously evolve the breadth of resources that its MSPs and VARs need to grow and thrive in a changing landscape.

This includes meeting partners' needs through the recent consolidation in the distribution space. D&H is prepared to meet new challenges for partners at this unique moment in IT history. Partners can visit www.dandh.ca/bfg for more details.

D&H Canada continues to expand its programs and offerings, including:

  • The addition of Samsung large format displays: D&H Canada added Samsung's LFD units to its linecard in October, enhancing its growing digital signage practice. This new offering builds on D&H Canada's current portfolio of Samsung's small format displays plus world-class LED indoor, outdoor, and smart signage solutions for a wide variety of use cases.
  • Expanded HPI relationship: D&H is now able to sell HPI's CTO ("configure to order") personal systems to all authorized HPI partners. The CTO program allows solution providers to sell PCs with a range of customized options and components.
  • Acer Navigator partner program: Offered exclusively through D&H Canada, this program grants partners dedicated sales resources and exclusive incentives for the sale of Acer's commercial line of TravelMate personal systems, simplifying how partners sell and profit from these robust mobile computing devices.
  • Enhanced Cisco Pro 2.0 partner program: This sales enablement offering helps partners accelerate their Cisco sales through specialized resources, certification training, incentives, and demand generation activities, with a key focus on Cisco's leading cloud solutions.
  • New THREADcast virtual sessions: Partners can also view content from D&H Canada's THREADcast virtual engagement at www.dandh.ca/threadcast, debuting on 10/28 and available afterward on-demand, including topics like cloud solutions, opportunities in gaming, and sessions from Cisco and Lenovo.
BFG: D&H is Built for Growth, Generations, and Giving

The "BFG" campaign emphasizes the company's tactical approach to growth in the upcoming quarters, but the acronym also describes the company's family-oriented culture (Built for Generations). It also refers to D&H Canada's community engagements (Built for Giving), including recent participation in the "Build Together, Give Together Challenge" with several manufacturer partners such as ASUS North America. This fall channel initiative benefitted "Child's Play," a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children in hospitals around the world.

"D&H is confident in its ability to bring its Canadian partners to new levels of success. That commitment is backed by our continued growth in North America, and is commensurate with the feedback we've heard from channel partners regarding the recent market consolidation," said Michael Schwab, D&H co-president. "Our partners know we're resilient and nimble, and they can depend on us. To that end, we're focusing on strategic investments in Canada to drive their progress."

"D&H has been investing in everything from improved integration services, to enhancements to our website, to our logistical processes," said Dan Schwab, D&H co-president. "We're a dynamic company with the financial strength to support both ample credit extensions and the expansion of our vendor-based offerings. We're ready, even in the wake of profound market catalysts, to rise to the needs of our partners, delivering the tools and expertise that can fuel their growth."
