D&H CANADA OPENS VANCOUVER WAREHOUSE TO SERVICE THE WESTERN CANADA PROVINCES

— The Distributor Increases Its Investment in Western Canada with a 26,000-Square Foot Warehouse That Will Accommodate Same-Day Deliver and Other Amenities —

BRAMPTON, ONT - August 15, 2017 - As part of a long-term plan to increase its investment in the western Canada provinces, major computer products and consumer electronics distributor D&H Canada announces the opening of its newest distribution center, in Richmond, British Columbia. The 26,000 square-foot facility will enhance logistics and speed-up delivery times for D&H Canada customers in the Vancouver region. The new location has been taking orders on a limited basis since July and is now fully operational.

The warehouse is strategically located minutes from all key transportation and carrier hubs to facilitate quick, same-day delivery to accounts in western Canada if ordered by 5:30 p.m. In addition, it will accommodate same-day “will call” customer pick-up of equipment at no extra cost, to provide superior service to its customer base in this region. D&H expects the Vancouver location to facilitate the greatest percentage of “will call” orders of any of its six North American warehouses. D&H Canada overall has already achieved impressive growth performance for this year, showing 29% growth in its 1st fiscal quarter that ended July 31, driven by the company’s unique SMB customer service, and its demand generation-based business model.

To support the company’s effort to increase service in the west, D&H Canada has also invested in increased personnel and staff training, in addition to the development of training for resellers in this region. The goal is to help these customers take advantage of new technologies and opportunities.

The Vancouver warehouse is part of an ongoing expansion at D&H Canada that has included the addition the Cisco Meraki line of high-performance access points. D&H Canada has also invested in new management personnel, welcoming industry veteran Roy Rivers as director of sales - advanced solutions, in July. Such developments will support a trajectory for D&H Canada that consistently outpaces growth in the general distribution marketplace.

The opening of the Vancouver warehouse coincides with D&H Canada’s tenth anniversary, and is the fourth warehouse location that the company has occupied since opening its doors in this country in 2007. D&H’s Canadian headquarters relocated in 2014 from its original location in Mississauga to a larger, state-of-the-art facility in Brampton, Ontario. This move was a response to double digit revenue increases that D&H Canada experienced every year of its operation, leading to a current status of $300 million in sales.
