D&H CANADA ADDS NEW LEADER TOM GUAGLIARDI, INCREASES SERVICES AND NEW PRACTICE AREAS TO SUPPORT ACCELERATED GROWTH FOR 2020

- Investment in a Canadian Leader, Enhanced Offerings, and Increased Engagement Mark Another Year of Milestones for D&H Canada, Which Boasted Double-Digit Increases Including 20% VAR Growth -

BRAMPTON, ON - December 18, 2019 - D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB and consumer technologies to the North American high-tech channel, has experienced impressive 20% VAR growth in 2019. Despite the fact that distribution growth in general has been mixed, D&H experienced increases to its customer base, its sales revenues, its associate headcount, and its offerings in key areas such as personal computing, ProAV/collaboration, datacenter, professional services, and networking and security. Due in part to the sales efforts of D&H's emerging VAR team, customer breadth and new customer activations have seen double-digit gains.

New Leadership Position Announced

To set the stage for incremental growth in 2020, D&H Canada announced a new appointment: Tom Guagliardi has been named Vice President, Sales and Vendor Management, Canada. Tom will be responsible for driving D&H Canada's ongoing sales and manufacturer partner initiatives, working with customers and vendors to take D&H Canada to the next level in the market. A Canadian native, Tom has driven significant expansion in D&H Distributing's systems business in North America over the past five years, and is recognized as an industry leader both within D&H's organization and beyond.

Increased Training & Marketing Support for Exemplary Partner Experiences

In addition to D&H Canada's major technology conferences in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, the company also experienced extraordinary customer enablement gains in 2019. By partnering with strategic manufacturers, the distributor was able to deliver specialized messaging to regional markets in Calgary, Quebec City, London, and Markham.

In Harrisburg, D&H Distributing recently moved more than 700 of its associates to an expanded, two-building corporate campus. It boasts a professional-class Multimedia Production Studio, Innovation Center, and Technology Hub training theater, where subject matter experts from D&H's manufacturer partners will deliver specialized trainings. In addition, the distributor will produce "D&H TV," a series of live streaming presentations, increasing the schedule of webcasts through its newly-expanded Solutions Lab capabilities. High-Potential Solutions, Innovative Growth Strategies

The distributor will focus on areas of opportunity for 2020, allowing partners to expand their competencies and leverage emerging trends like WiFi 6, AV-over-IP and hosted collaboration services, or to migrate their business models toward an "as-a-service" paradigm to build monthly annuity-based revenues.

  • Managed Services: D&H Canada will begin selling "XaaS" solutions, hardware, software, and managed and professional services, targeting specific categories, to be financed in a monthly subscription model. Such prescriptive bundles will be made available through the D&H Cloud Marketplace in 2020, and will help partners meet market demand in the "Everything-as-a-Service" economy. Partners will be able to customize XaaS bundles, and integrate solutions with their own offerings.
  • ProAV: D&H will launch quarterly initiatives that focus on different areas of ProAV, offering interactive electronic solutions guides, consultation, and special pricing programs. In addition, large-footprint installations like video walls are gaining momentum in verticals such as hospitality, transportation, and education. These markets provide opportunities for D&H partners to create innovative, interactive displays running customizable, hosted content that will distinguish their end-customers' businesses.
  • Unified Communication and Collaboration: D&H Canada's expanding portfolio of unified communication and collaboration manufacturers offers partners a wide selection of solutions to meet the needs of partners ranging from SMB to large enterprise. D&H Canada offers pre-sales specialists and white labelled technical services to simplify a partner's sales motion and maximize time-to-revenue across the entire portfolio.
  • Compute Infrastructure: D&H is committed to growing the SMB market by focusing on BTO (built-to-order) compute/storage solutions emphasizing speed-to-opportunity closure for its partners. With Windows Server 2008 end-of-support pending in January, D&H is assisting partners with the configuration and implementation of the most secure server solutions the market has to bear.
