Direct Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, loading, and receiving inventory of computer products.
  • Assist in keeping a clean and safe work environment.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have a minimum education level of Grade 12.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred, but willing to train and educate.
  • Picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control knowledge are a definite asset.
  • RF experience in a WMS environment preferred.
  • Certified Reach Truck operator. Training available.
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate solid behavioral traits.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible with hours of work Monday to Friday and weekend work may, at times, be a necessity to support our customer service level agreements.

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to assist the Leadership Team with the day-to-day operations of the corporate office by developing a team of professionals, managing the formulations of purchasing, sales and marketing strategies and best practice processes in conjunction with departments to align with business strategies and customer requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver category management, sourcing strategies, sales and marketing
  • Support director in supplier negotiations, developing and negotiating strategies and managing ongoing supplier relationships
  • Coordinate with organizations to ensure alignment of procurement, sales & marketing strategies where synergies exist
  • Responsibility for achieving quarterly profit and sales targets for assigned vendors
  • Develop strategies and action plans to improve combined margin and achieve quarterly targets
  • Maximize back-end rebate dollar achievement for the company
  • Effectively manage rebate spend with Sales to ensure it delivers an acceptable ROI
  • Develop and foster Executive relationships with assigned vendors; promote D&H's value proposition to vendors
  • Increase D&H market share with assigned vendors
  • Deliver objective insights and solutions that accelerate category growth by collaboratively planning, coordinating, and executing with cross-functional resources at multiple levels across the company
  • Coordinates personnel required to achieve company objectives
  • Develops plans for execution and engagement with appropriate senior level contact points, timing, and content
  • Actively and collaboratively participates and leads (depending on topic) meetings with vendors.
  • Develops and coordinates work plans for the Category Management resources
  • Works with company leadership to define priorities and objectives, specific to key vendor KPIs
  • Develops and executes category business plans across key categories
  • Defines requirements for resources necessary to achieve those KPI objectives

  • Developing and presenting recommendations to senior management.
  • Engaging marketing managers to execute marketing plans
  • Work collaboratively with marketing managers, sales, and others throughout the organization to ensure successful integration and leverage of new product programs.
  • Develop and execute category strategy to maximize revenue, profitability, and product selection
  • Generate annual sales forecast for category
  • Work with Purchasing & Marketing team to develop key promotional/sales plans with strategic partners that create and drive revenue, traffic and category growth.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Specifications/Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent in experience required in Category Management, Insights and Sales Strategy, and leading teams
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and technical experience, preferably with significant exposure to IT, or relevant degree
  • Substantial purchasing experience at a senior and strategic level, preferably in the area of large and complex Information Technology solutions
  • Strong background in procurement, marketing, or sales
  • Relevant professional qualifications a significant advantage

Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

  • Purchase all incoming merchandise.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels in all warehouse locations.
  • Maintain stable supply, take necessary actions to prevent stock out or expedite deliveries. This includes to anticipate demand and working with sales.
  • Place, reschedule or cancel orders.
  • Issue stocking and special purchase orders as required and ensure correctness on orders for all branches.
  • Negotiate better pricing, freight terms and return material terms.
  • Manage supplier price, delivery and quality expectations and escalate when appropriate.
  • Oversee the buy-to-pay process that also includes assisting accounts payable in troubleshooting payment of invoices.
  • Enforce suppliers' compliance with invoicing policies and payment terms.
  • Analyze sales results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Interact with suppliers with regard to assortment selection and promotion activities.
  • Help to manage the inventory by doing stock balances, transfers, ordering, etc.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Job Summary:

Successful growth of our subsidiary, D&H Canada - Toronto, has resulted in opening a brand new facility, D&H Canada - Vancouver. We are currently recruiting for full time general warehouse workers. In this role, you will be trained to work in receiving and shipping. Previous warehouse experience, including the use of RF equipment and forklifts is preferred. This is currently a Monday - Friday day shift position.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to all safety standards
  • Performing to the determined standards of each area
  • Following all company policies, including maintaining good attendance
  • Learning to use a WMS system and LMS system

Job Requirements:

As a warehouse worker, you are part of a team that values customer service and has a can do attitude when it comes to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. The goals is to efficiently and accurately bring product into the facility, identify and store it accurately, and then pick the appropriate items to be accurately fill the customer order.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work on various shifts, and departments, as required
