We are looking for an assertive and self-motivated individual to join our team as the Senior Accountant, available in our Brampton office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the month end closing process including account analysis and reconciliation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare federal and provincial tax filings and provincial environmental fees
  • Monthly reconciliation and payment of GST on imports
  • Review and accurately code AP invoices
  • Daily review of currency exchange rates and $USD inventory valuation
  • Assist in budget preparation
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of government agency reporting and audits
  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis and management reporting, as well as other special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in finance and accounting
  • Actively pursuing CPA certification
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices
  • Experience with ERP / accounting systems and the ability to easily adapt to unfamiliar software
  • Proficient in MS Office with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy

POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to assist the Leadership Team with the day-to-day operations of the corporate office by developing a team of professionals, managing the formulations of purchasing, sales and marketing strategies and best practice processes in conjunction with departments to align with business strategies and customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver category management, sourcing strategies, sales and marketing
  • Support director in supplier negotiations, developing and negotiating strategies and managing ongoing supplier relationships
  • Coordinate with organizations to ensure alignment of procurement, sales & marketing strategies where synergies exist
  • Responsibility for achieving quarterly profit and sales targets for assigned vendors
  • Develop strategies and action plans to improve combined margin and achieve quarterly targets
  • Maximize back-end rebate dollar achievement for the company
  • Effectively manage rebate spend with Sales to ensure it delivers an acceptable ROI

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Purchase incoming merchandise as requested
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels in all warehouse locations
  • Assist buyer to maintain stable supply, take necessary actions to prevent stock out or expedite deliveries
  • Place, track, reschedule or cancel orders as requested
  • Issue stocking and special purchase orders as required and ensure correctness on orders for all branches
  • Assist in maintaining supplier price, delivery and quality expectations and escalate when appropriate
  • Help to manage the inventory by doing stock balances, transfers, ordering, etc. as requested
  • Collaborate with the warehouses and vendors to resolve shipping problems, overages, etc
  • Interact with marketing to produce monthly flyers by giving product feedback, promos, pricing, etc. in absence of PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the growing existing business, and involvement with strategic DRC accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibility for $80M territory and growing Sales and market share for assigned Customers (computer products and services business)
  • Focus on competitive plans, customer development, customer satisfaction and margin growth
  • Develop new business while expanding current revenue stream – Largely a Business Development role
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge (keeping skills up to date)
  • Close complex sales involving multiple stakeholders
  • Create a Growth Plan with input from inside sales team members, Vendor Business Management and Buying teams
  • Conduct team meetings to review ongoing “go to market” plans, solutions, key products and sales results

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of sales experience successfully building and supporting the Sales Channel
  • Fundamental understanding of IT Solutions including networking, Security, client devices and software and services
  • Experience calling on larger Customers and operating at all levels
  • Relationships with and knowledge of vendors including Cisco, Lenovo, HP and HPE/Aruba
  • Previous Computer Products industry experience preferred
  • Wholesale distribution experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) programs required

In this role, you will be trained to work in receiving and shipping. Previous warehouse experience, including the use of RF equipment and forklifts is preferred. This is currently a Monday - Friday day shift position.
